Though the quality is not compromise, their boxart looks only a bit better than the KOs. Many times, I wanted to purchase a Korean RID, but was put off by the boxart.
However, they are good in terms of price.
OT - On topic. I bought a couple of China KO toys and threw it away right after I open the package. It just does not fits in among the rest, although I tried.

Vintage collectors beware, there is a new Generation 1 unauthorized reproduction on the market. Sunstreaker is the latest Generation 1 character to be knocked off. They are intended to hit the market within the first week of November.
Fortunately, there are some fairly easy to spot clues on the in box sample that will tell you if you are looking at a vintage piece or this knock off. Several factory applied black stickers are missing, including the black "skirt" detail and the black "triangle" detail on the side of the car, which are visible from the front of the box. The black triangle on the car's roof is also missing, although it is a lot harder to spot this on boxed samples, due to the way Sunstreaker is packaged.

A few new knock offs that will be hitting the market are G1 Defensor, Sideswipe and Red Alert that have been released recently, with Menasor set to be released after Chinese New Year. Defensor and Menasor will be released as giftsets, with single carded coming some time in the future.

I have seen pics of that Defensor by way of Genzhao from KOtoys, and looked very sweet indeed. I'd say got for it if you can find it at affordable price locally, since getting just one from KOToys costs like USD97. Ouch.

I like Knock offs that have colors or sizing out of this world. Bright colors like a green, orange or blue grimlocks, hell yea!

If the quality of the KOs r high , i dun mind getting one . M very happy wif the KO sixshot i got at JB . Great build quality n durability. Maybe can consider getting those KOs. Original G1s gestalts has an astronomical price.

Dun buy KOs. Buy original keep the TF franchise going! 
Seriously buying KOs constantly might be fun at first but it does add up in terms of dollars and cents. You're better off buying the real stuff. Afterall, at the end of the day, a KO is still a KO.
I have only 1 KO in my collection. A full sized clear G1 OP. I bought it becos Takara/Hasbro doesn't make one like this. |

Vintage collectors beware, as there are three more Generation 1 Transformers remakes about to hit the market. Generation 1 Sideswipe, Red Alert and Protectobots Combiner Defensor are the latest Generation 1 characters to receive the knock off treatment. Defensor is relatively easy to identify as a remake by his lack of factory applied stickers (though seeing them in package might prove tricky). Likewise, Sideswipe and Red Alert also lack their factory applied stickers - Sideswipe lacks the black chevrons on the side of the car, while Red Alert lacks the "Fire Chief" decals on his doors. Fortunately, both of these details are clearly visible through the front window of the box.
